Short n’ Sweet: Outfit Inspiration for Sabrina Carpenter’s Tour
Sabrina Carpenter officially landed in Europe last week for her Short n’ Sweet Tour , and excited is an understatement. After wrapping up the American leg of her tour back in November, we have been (im)patiently waiting for Miss Carpenter to land on our shores and bless us with her catchy songs, mesmerising outfits, and her signature sharp wit.
Since starting the European leg in Dublin, we have been teased with new setlist songs, new outfit variations, and new bedazzled towels. And, if you’ve been following the buzz on TikTok, you’ll know that the main question on concert-goers’ lips is: what am I going to wear?!

If there’s one thing to know about Sabrina, it’s that she knows how to rock a good corset. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the latest Short n’ Sweet outfit reveals, and we are so spoilt for choice with her new array of stunning corset colourways.
In Act I of her show, Sabrina wears custom Victoria Secret, and her bodysuits are each a masterpiece of lace and shimmer. The bodysuit has a beautiful sweetheart neckline and sequin detail, and is styled with sheer tights, crystal-adorned Mary Jane Louboutins, and later topped with a sheer babydoll dress. With her doll-like beauty, Sabrina has masterfully incorporated the babydoll silhouette into her stage wardrobe. She first debuted a babydoll silhouette to her on-stage wardrobe during her SNL performance in May 2024, where she wore a vintage red babydoll dress with heeled red ballet pumps.
Since then, she’s expanded her repertoire, having sported a white babydoll on stage during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and now introducing a sheer babydoll dress as a mid-set addition to her Short n’ Sweet performances. During Act I, Sabrina layers a sheer babydoll dress over her sparkling corset which adds a graceful, whisper-like fluidity to her performance.

In her transition to Act II, Sabrina truly embraces her inner Sandra Dee as she changes into a killer black lace catsuit that is reminiscent of Olivia Newton-John's leather-clad 'Grease' finale. The custom-made Patou garment, featuring crystal embellishments on a chic capri silhouette, is elegantly styled with opera-length gloves and black Mary Janes.
In 2025, we are certainly going to see capri trousers become a key spring/summer staple. These cropped trousers may be novel to some, but trust me, the capri-style is best known for its elegance and versatility. Having been made popular in the 1950’s and then revived in the 90’s, the capri trouser is a perfect style for Sabrina who is known for taking inspiration from vintage fashion. (see more here).

During Act III of the Short n’ Sweet Tour, Sabrina changes into a beautiful sparkly number, inspired by a look in the ABBA Voyage concert. Sabrina said she loved the way the fabric was so fluid and liquid-like, and she wanted to recreate this own movement in her own show - and voilà, the iconic co-ord was born.
The two-piece, designed by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, consists of a shimmery halterneck top and mini skirt which varies in colour each show, and is styled with a pair of sparkling platform boots. It’s a dazzling number that is so fitting for the dazzling finale of the show!
I’ve seen so many amazing hand-made recreations of this outfit, but there are also some stunning alternatives online. As long as it’s drenched in sparkles, you'll be set for an unforgettable, Short n’ Sweet evening!
